The Assignment
Headquartered in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) serves the North American power systems, rail transportation, and large visual display markets with electrical and electronic products, systems and services.
MEPPI’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) business unit wanted to develop a series of television/online commercials that quickly conveyed how uninterruptible power supplies are critical to keeping businesses running 24/7 and, in some cases, can also save lives.
The Solution
Create three 30-second spots that dramatically depicted MEPPI’s marketing theme of “Don’t Let Your Business Go Dark”. The sub-theme messages to communicate in the commercials were The Cost of Downtime, Protect the Life Blood of your Business and Failure is not an Option.
